Schniro Shanghai Office

When a global leader in industrial ventilation invited us to design a temporary office, we understood it was more than a workplace—it was a statement of identity. Within 1,000 square meters and a 3–5-year lifespan, the challenge was to express Schniro’s spirit of innovation, precision, and craftsmanship in a space that felt both industrial and human.

Inspired by Schniro’s meticulous R&D process, we treated the office as a “walk-in product,” deconstructing and reassembling space with the logic of design engineering. Stripped of superfluous ornamentation, the architecture exposes its authentic structure—raw textures, honest materials, and tactile warmth—forming a minimalist environment with industrial soul and human touch.

All modular MDF furniture was co-developed and handcrafted by the Schniro team and our designers, allowing flexible configuration, repeated use, and sustainable adaptation. Deconstructed product parts, tools, and machinery were reimagined as partitions, displays, and lighting nodes—transforming engineering components into the space’s visual language and embodying the brand’s ethos of authenticity, professionalism, and innovation.

The office also embraces the “third space” concept, balancing productivity with comfort. Modular lounge zones, soft seating, and greenery create informal hubs for dialogue and creativity, while adjustable lighting transitions the atmosphere from morning focus to evening calm. Locally prefabricated, low-carbon materials and recyclable modular systems reflect Schniro’s commitment to efficiency and environmental responsibility—proving that even a temporary workspace can become a lasting expression of design, craft, and culture.
